JLR Engineering & Control Logic
JLR engineers design the ACC system to deliver smooth, predictable speed and distance control. The radar module continuously scans the road ahead and sends distance and velocity data to the assistance control module. The system modulates engine torque and applies gentle brake pressure to maintain your selected gap. You retain full override control at all times. The system disables dynamic support when you press the brake or cancel the function. It complies with global JLR safety standards and works seamlessly with other driver aids.
