360 Parking Aid + Park Assist
Product Overview (JLR OEM‑Spec Parking ADAS Retrofit)
360 Parking Aid + Park Assist delivers combined surround‑vision and automated steering‑assist parking for DOIP‑based JLR Defender L663 vehicles. Many mid‑trim vehicles only ship with basic rear‑view camera and simple ultrasonic proximity alerts.
Even after installing perimeter cameras and full ultrasonic sensor hardware, locked CCF feature flags block 360‑degree visuals and auto‑park steering logic. Drivers lose bird‑eye overview and hands‑assisted parking functions. Pair this retrofit with our Blind Spot System to combine low‑speed parking safety with motorway lane‑change ADAS.
Our kit supplies OEM four‑position surround‑camera assemblies, full‑set ultrasonic parking sensors, NFSM near‑field‑sensing‑module and required wiring pigtails. It unlocks 360 bird‑eye view, ClearSight Ground‑View, parallel‑perpendicular park assist and park‑exit support following JLR factory specifications.
Hardware Installation & DOIP Coding Workflow
Complete 360 Parking Aid + Park Assist cannot activate by hardware fit‑out alone. Technicians disassemble front‑rear bumpers and side‑mirrors to mount cameras and ultrasonic sensors. Every CAMM and NFSM electrical connector gets securely locked in place.
Our jlrcoding team completes a full DOIP diagnostic scan. We enable 360‑parking‑aid‑plus‑park‑assist CCF feature flags. Multi‑parameter adaptation runs for CAMM, NFSM, DADC, BCM and IAM modules.
After coding finishes, CAMM stitches multi‑camera feeds while NFSM processes parking‑space measurement and steering‑assist calculations. Parking assist controls appear on the Pivi Pro touch‑screen. Check our Interactive Driver Display (TFT cluster) for parking warning notifications shown on the driver instrument cluster.
Hardware & Operating Logic
This retrofit includes OEM surround‑camera set, perimeter ultrasonic sensors, NFSM module, CAN‑FD wiring looms and mounting fasteners. The CAMM handles multi‑camera image‑stitching for the 360‑degree overhead view. The NFSM evaluates ultrasonic sensor data to detect usable parking bays.
Parking‑space status, camera‑stream metadata and diagnostic DTC data transmit over CAN‑FD bus to DADC, BCM and IAM modules. When a suitable bay is detected, Park Assist provides automated steering control; the driver manages brake and accelerator inputs.
ClearSight Ground‑View renders virtual under‑vehicle terrain for off‑road and tight manoeuvres. Pure mechanical hardware installation leaves auto‑park and surround‑view functions disabled. Authorised DOIP programming plus parking‑system geometric‑calibration is mandatory. Combine this ADAS upgrade with Powered tailgate for full rear‑cargo‑zone convenience alongside improved parking safety.
Vehicle Eligibility & Technical Pre‑Conditions
This retrofit suits 2020+ Defender L663 90, 110 and 130 DOIP‑architecture models. Your vehicle must support CAMM‑NFSM ADAS sensing architecture and EPAS electric‑power‑assisted steering. Submit your VIN number for firmware revision pre‑validation.
Workshop tasks include bumper and side‑mirror disassembly, camera‑sensor installation and harness connection validation. Some base‑trim vehicles need supplementary CAN‑FD wiring upgrades. After hardware installation we create secure backup of your original CCF configuration file.
We activate feature flags, run surround‑camera geometric‑calibration and tune NFSM parking‑space detection thresholds. All parking‑ADAS‑related DTC fault codes get cleared. Remote coding service is available with DOIP‑VCI or Enet Type‑C cable.
Key Technical & Practical Benefits
- OEM 360‑Degree Surround Vision with ClearSight Ground‑View: Genuine JLR multi‑camera hardware delivers bird‑eye overhead view plus virtual under‑vehicle terrain view for tight urban and off‑road manoeuvres.
- Automated Steering‑Assisted Park Assist: NFSM‑driven detection of parallel and perpendicular parking bays, plus park‑exit assistance to reduce stress in confined parking spaces.
- Native CAN‑FD Multi‑Module ADAS Integration: CAMM and NFSM communicate with DADC, BCM and IAM following factory JLR parking‑ADAS‑system‑logic; no aftermarket vision‑processing boxes required.
- Professional DOIP Parking‑System Calibration: CCF feature‑flag activation plus camera‑sensor geometric‑calibration clears parking‑ADAS‑related DTC faults and guarantees stable cross‑module‑bus communication.
Quality Assurance & Service Notes
Every retrofit starts with pre‑install diagnostic health‑check and original CCF backup. After coding, we verify 360‑view stitching quality, ClearSight rendering and Park Assist bay‑detection & steering‑assist behaviour.
Important: Hardware‑only camera‑and‑sensor fitment cannot achieve full factory 360 Parking Aid + Park Assist functionality.
Incomplete adaptation or mis‑executed geometric‑calibration can produce distorted camera stitching, failed bay‑detection or persistent parking‑ADAS DTC faults. Once fully calibrated, this OEM‑spec ADAS upgrade lowers collision risk during low‑speed manoeuvres. It works well for urban commuters, family‑vehicles and Defender overland‑focused owners.
