Technical Overview

JLR OEM Seats Memory is a driver‑profile comfort peripheral managed by DSM and PSM seat‑control‑modules. First of all, these modules read hall‑effect position‑sensor values to track every axis of seat adjustment including fore‑aft, height, cushion tilt and backrest recline.

It exchanges CAN‑FD and LIN‑bus status frames with BCM body‑controller, IMC infotainment‑master‑controller and GWM gateway modules. DSM and PSM store up to three independent position profiles within non‑volatile on‑module memory storage.
