InControl Touch Pro system 10
Product Overview (JLR OEM‑Spec Infotainment‑System Retrofit)
InControl Touch Pro system 10 delivers genuine OEM 10‑inch high‑resolution touch‑infotainment for DOIP‑based JLR Defender L663. Many entry‑trim Defender vehicles ship with reduced‑function base head‑units. Even after physical hardware swap, locked CCF feature flags block premium infotainment features.
Without coding, you only get basic media playback. You will lose DAB+ radio, wireless phone mirroring and full factory vehicle setting menus. Pair this retrofit with our Meridian Surround Sound System 650W for full premium multimedia experience.
Our kit includes OEM 10‑inch touch‑display, IAM infotainment‑master‑controller, MOST150 / CAN‑FD wiring pigtails and mounting fasteners. It unlocks DAB+, wired & wireless CarPlay / Android Auto, connected navigation and steering‑wheel media controls.
Hardware Installation & DOIP Coding Workflow
Full infotainment functions cannot activate by hardware installation alone. Technicians take apart the centre‑stack dashboard, then fit the 10‑inch screen and IAM controller. They secure every fibre‑optic and electrical connector.
Next, jlrcoding runs a full DOIP diagnostic scan. We activate related CCF feature flags. We complete multi‑parameter adaptation across IAM, BCM, GWM, IPC and AMPM modules.
Once coding completes, the IAM processes touch inputs and smartphone‑mirroring signals. DAB channels and wireless projection menus appear on screen. Check our Wireless device charging to add cable‑free phone charging for wireless CarPlay usage.
Hardware & Operating Logic
This retrofit supplies OEM touch‑display, IAM controller, MOST150 fibre‑optic loom, CAN‑FD pigtails and fixings. The IAM handles touch‑input, navigation rendering and Bluetooth stack management.
Status and fault data flow over MOST150 fibre‑optic ring and CAN‑FD bus to related ECUs. Users control radio, navigation and climate via the capacitive touch‑panel. Steering‑wheel buttons send volume and track‑skip commands over CAN‑FD.
Media metadata syncs to the TFT driver cluster. Mechanical hardware fit‑out alone leaves premium menus disabled. Authorised DOIP programming plus IAM HMI‑profile relearn calibration is mandatory. Pair with Interactive Driver Display (TFT cluster) for cross‑screen media sync.
Vehicle Eligibility & Technical Pre‑Conditions
This retrofit fits 2020+ Defender L663 90,110,130 DOIP‑architecture vehicles. Your car must support MOST150 fibre‑optic infotainment ring and physical mounting space for hardware. Submit your VIN for pre‑check of module firmware revisions.
Workshop tasks include centre‑stack trim removal, hardware installation and harness routing. Some base‑trim cars need supplementary wiring upgrades. After install, we back‑up your original CCF file.
We activate feature flags, run IAM HMI‑profile relearn and validate steering‑wheel switch inputs. Finally we clear all infotainment‑related DTC fault codes. Remote coding is available with DOIP‑VCI or Enet‑Cable.
Key Technical & Practical Benefits
- OEM 10‑Inch InControl Touch Pro Infotainment: Genuine IAM hardware enables DAB+, wired / wireless CarPlay & Android Auto plus factory connected navigation.
- Native HMI Menu & Steering‑Wheel Integration: Full factory vehicle‑configuration menus. Steering‑wheel media controls work without aftermarket converters.
- Native MOST150 / CAN‑FD Multi‑Module Integration: IAM communicates over fibre‑optic ring with BCM, GWM, IPC, AMPM following JLR factory system logic.
- Professional DOIP Infotainment‑System Calibration: CCF activation and HMI‑profile relearn clears infotainment DTCs for stable media streaming.
Quality Assurance & Service Notes
Every retrofit starts with pre‑install diagnostic health‑check and original CCF backup. After coding we test DAB reception, wireless mirroring, navigation rendering and steering‑wheel media controls.
Important: Hardware‑only screen and IAM fitment cannot realise full factory InControl Touch Pro system 10 features.
Incomplete adaptation may create missing menu entries, mirroring drop‑outs or infotainment DTC faults. After full calibration, this upgrade improves multimedia experience for commuters, family‑cars and overland Defender owners.
