Product Technical Overview
Standard JLR key systems operate on basic remote control functionality by default. In daily use, manually retrieving and pressing the smart fob creates unnecessary inconvenience, especially when carrying items or with occupied hands. Furthermore, standard remote operation lacks the advanced proximity security and automatic locking features of high-spec JLR vehicles.
Genuine JLR Keyless Entry is a factory-engineered passive access and security system. Specifically, it uses LF proximity field detection and latest UWB time-of-flight technology to deliver centimetre-accurate smart key positioning. When the validated key fob is within 1 metre of the door handle, the system authorises passive unlocking upon handle actuation.In addition, the system supports automatic walk-away locking and alarm arming for enhanced security. Best of all, our upgrade uses pure software CCF configuration edits, requiring no hardware retrofits while preserving full OEM anti-theft calibration.
