Our Jaguar XF X250 Premium Ambient Lighting Upgrade is a specialised dealer-level JLR software calibration designed exclusively for the X250 chassis platform. All Jaguar XF X250 model variants come factory-equipped with complete premium ambient lighting hardware, including interior LED strips, dedicated lighting circuitry and compatible Body Control Module (BCM) firmware. However, JLR enforces strict software restrictions via factory CCF configuration files to separate base, mid and high-spec trim levels. As a result, stock X250 vehicles only operate with basic fixed-colour or white ambient lighting, disabling the full RGB colour spectrum and dynamic lighting features built into the vehicle’s native hardware. While generic aftermarket lighting modifications attempt to unlock these features, they often alter core BCM firmware, trigger electrical DTC faults and cause LED flickering or permanent module instability.
