Technical System Overview

The factory‑engineered 360 Surround‑View Camera System is an OEM ADAS parking aid for DOiP‑architecture Jaguar Land Rover vehicles (2017‑2025). Many base‑trim chassis possess compatible Pivi‑Pro infotainment, gateway and PDC hardware, yet surround‑view functionality remains suppressed within the vehicle’s CCF (Central Configuration File) at time of factory build. Where physical camera array and wiring loom are absent, genuine OEM hardware fitment is required prior to coding operations.

This system aggregates video feeds acquired from four high‑definition OEM cameras mounted front bumper, rear tailgate and within both exterior mirror housings. The Vision Assist module executes real‑time image stitching, rendering a 360‑degree overhead bird’s‑eye view onto the native vehicle infotainment display. Subject to hardware capability, this retrofit also enables ClearSight Ground View, delivering virtual bonnet‑perspective terrain visibility for off‑road and low‑speed obstacle assessment, matching original JLR engineering specifications.

Vehicle Compatibility & Technical Pre‑Conditions

This retrofit‑activation service supports DOiP‑based JLR vehicles. Before commencing work, we perform VIN‑based pre‑validation to confirm gateway and infotainment hardware readiness. Vehicles missing camera units and associated wiring harness require genuine OEM component supply and physical installation before coding work commences.

All coding procedures are performed using dealer‑level diagnostic workflows: CCF parameter editing, CAN‑DOiP network topology configuration, vision‑assist module enrolment and execution of official JLR static camera alignment calibration routine. Post‑coding full DTC scan and fault code clearance are mandatory steps to eliminate induced diagnostic trouble codes. Activations persist through standard SOTA over‑the‑air updates; full module re‑flash by main dealer may necessitate service re‑application per our published FAQs.
